On Memorial Day Weekend, 1970, sixty thousand hippies, greasers, straights, bikers, vendors, ushers, Hare Krishna, musicians, preachers, politicians and two undercover fuzz armed with a 8mm film camera showed up to a small farm community to participate in what was refereed to as the “Incident at Kickapoo Creek”.  This site is dedicated to all of the people who attended, just missed it or wishes they were there.

"When I arrived at Kickapoo, I didn't know if they wanted me to play or be security.... I had my Gibson guitar so I could do both."
